U.S. Representative Cynthia McKinney faces arrest for punching policeman
U.S. Represenative Cynthia McKinney (D - Georgia) faces possible arrest after hitting a Capitol police officer. The police officer did not recognize the Congresswoman and asked her to go through a metal detector. When she repeatedly ignored the officer’s request, he put his hand on her shoulder. McKinney allegedly struck the policeman in the chest with her cell phone. The Congresswoman may be arrested when the House adjourns in the evening. source
