32 injured in successful Airbus A380 safety test
Airplane maker Airbus has deemed a test evacuation of one its new double-decker A380 aircraft a success, even though 32 people were injured in the test including one person who suffered a broken leg. An Airbus spokesman has clarified that an earlier statement that a slide had failed to deploy was in error and the company is pleased with the results. source
