Chicago schools require driver’s education for blind students
Dozens of blind and visually impaired sophomores in Chicago schools are required to pass a driver’s education exam to graduate. In fact, hundreds of school districts in Illinois require students to do the same. The state only requires that districts offer the courses, not mandate them. source
