Barbecue restaurant buys porn site’s domain name
The Sticky Fingers barbecue restaurant chain has purchased the domain name stickyfingers.com from a porn site for $6,000. The chain had attempted to purchase the name for ten years and in that time received a couple of phone calls each day from people who were offended by the site. Since taking over the domain, online sales have doubled.
