Salvation Army tries cardboard bell-ringers
The Salvation Army is using cardboard cutouts to staff its red donation kettles in stores across the 14 states in the South. The cutouts bear the image of a Salvation Army officer and feature a motorized arm waving a silent cardboard bell.
