Caesarian births may increase allergy risk
Researchers at Munich’s Ludwig-Maximilians University found that babies delivered by Caesarian section were more likely to have diarrhea and were twice as likely to be allergic to cows’ milk and other food. One theory is that babies born vaginally may pick up bacteria from the mother’s vagina, intestine and anal area.
