Truck driver blamed in Amtrak crash claims he’s being railroaded
A truck driver blamed for causing a fatal derailment of an Amtrak train claimed he’s “getting railroaded” outside a courtroom Wednesday. The National Transportation Safety Board ruled that Stokes was trying to drive around lowered gates when the crash occurred. Illinois State police argued the crossing signals were also to blame.
