Toddler has brain surgery to cure giggling fits
An 8-month-old Pittsburgh-area boy is recovering from surgery to remove a brain tumor that gave the child laughter-like seizures. The boy’s parents had nicknamed the child “Captain Giggles” before discovering the true nature of his behavior. The boy is in serious condition, according to the Phoenix, Arizona, hospital where the surgery was performed.
