LA City Council votes to preserve Fred Flintstone’s birthplace
The Los Angeles City Council approved a plan that will preserve the buildings that were once the Hanna-Barbera animation studio where the Flintstones, Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo and others were created. The Hanna-Barbera studio developed a system of limited animation that was affordable enough to produce cartoons for television.
