Snoopy bites Ronald McDonald
McDonald’s restaurants in Guangzhou, China could be fined after a Snoopy doll promotion turned violent. Customers scuffled with each other to get their hands on the hot selling toy.
The promotion was wildly popular but throngs of youngsters, parents, and entrepreneurs competed with each other to snatch up the dolls. Many waited in line for hours only to be told they were sold out.
Some parents complained that their children were unable to study for school unless they had the complete set of Snoopy dolls.
