Doctors remove needle left in woman’s vagina since 1949
A 73-year-old Taiwanese woman, who suffered sharp pain whenever she had sex, was found to have had a needle in her vagina since 1949. The needle was left in the woman by a midwife 53 years ago after a caesarean birth. Doctors found the rusted object after performing a CT scan recently.
