Euro’s first success - cheaper hookers
Hookers have gotten more affordable in Berlin since the introduction of the Euro currency. Prostitutes there have opted for a 2-1 exchange rate against the German mark. This saves German consumers 2.2% over the price paid in marks.
Smart shoppers should avoid Reeperbahn, however. Prostitutes in this famous red-light district have raised prices 17.35 percent since the Euro switch.
