New York Times reporter resigns in plagarism scandal
Jayson Blair, a New York Times reporter who copied portions of another newspaper’s story about a woman whose son died during the war in Iraq, resigned Friday. The executive editor of the Times gave a statement apologizing for the breach of journalistic standards.
