Doctors patch up damaged hearts with pieces of beef
Doctors are using a new procedure to place a patch of cow heart muscle in patients suffering from severe congestive heart failure. The new procedure, called surgical ventricular restoration, promises to rejuvenate portions of a human heart damaged by heart attacks.
